There are times when you wish you had decent outdoor furniture and in particular patio cushions for your guests. This Monday was one of those times. We had 7 guests in our apartment, 5 freshly returned form a motorcycle trip through Scotland, and we had an awesome night swapping travel stories and chowing down on food. However after so long you really want some nice cushions and chairs, and sadly that was something we could not provide.

Whats that, I am engaging in active procrastination? Maybe not, I was on a page called wholesale distributor and I think it sounds like a brilliant way to open an Internet shop and work from home. The next you hear from me I may just be a camera seller on ebay…. That would be rather sweet however, run online auctions for a month, take off for 2, online auctions for a month, take off for two…..

At the moment I am packing for our Iceland trip (Hurray!) and also going crazy trying to find a decent place to stay overnight in Denmark near the ferry port. One would think this would be easy. I just want our last night before a month of camping to involve bed mattresses. However at the prices they are asking, I am starting to suspect I will be tenting somewhere in the vicinity instead…

I LOVED this book, it made me laugh and laugh, and then cry, and I can not recommend it enough, and I bet I will have to wait until I am home in Canada again before I see it, because I just do not see Germany doing a mass distribution. 
Travel Stuff

So we are getting closer and closer to our departure date for Iceland. So close in fact that it is only 9 days away, and we have done next to nothing to get ready for it. And so now we are really feeling the pressure and I have begun to look into netbook reviews as I really want a compact netbook that is suitable for both travel and use at uni.
I know there is often a debate on if you should travel with a computer at all. But when one of you is an internet junkie and the other a software developer that makes his living through the use of computers, then the topic is not really up for debate at all. 
So the question is not really IF we take one but rather WHICH one.

Seriously though, I knew these 2 weeks were going to be stressful. The boat trip was going to make this week and last more stressful because I was gone for a full 5 days which translated into 5 days of bliss, but also 5 days that I could have been preparing more for my exams and presentations this week. And so now I am paying the piper, and as a result of stress the usual happens, and I am a pimple monster. :_-( I am going to just start working through that I find on the internet and see if I can find under top acne solutions. After all, I am 30 years old and this is reminding me of when I was 13. Then I had to go to the doctor and he gave me something that singed my forehead off, and made small non oily pink pumps rather than oily large monstrous bumps that oozed. Oh puberty was so much fun…..

Hopefully this time tomorrow I can say that our ferry tickets to Iceland re booked! And although my 365 has some gaps, it has not fallen apart, I have not been uploading all the pics. Time at the moment is precious. As in I have none!
