So last week I finished the second course in my Masters module program, and I had a presentation on the water supply and the various things that make it past the filtering processes and end up in the water supply. Im surprised the whole world does not have a never ending supply of water softeners in the apartments to filter the filtered stuff. Water really is going to become ´more valuable than oil or gold in the future.

And I have no idea where the time went. Seriously, this year flew by. It seems like just yesterday and we were getting back from our big trip and I was putting the final touches on my surprise trip home for Christmas! As it is I already have to look into christmas photo cards (I cant help it, I love them, no matter what my friends say) and begin the present purchasing!

Instead of drug rehab I need chocolate rehab. Seriously, the thing is an intense drug that I can not really kick. I was reading a book the other day about an alcoholic who did not even want to drink and yet there she sat drinking back her alcohol. That is exactly what happens with me, even to the point of 5 minutes ago, I was not hungry, I was not craving, and yet still I sat down and ate a big family size bag of chocolate covered peanuts.

.. is it really procrastination if you are doing something you really need to do such as looking for mechanical breakdown insurance? Ok, I dont really need to do it anytime soon, as we do not plan another big trip until next summer, and the big one the summer after that, but it is in the planning stages! Surely that means something doesn’t it?
The sad thing is I actually like my program and I don’t mind the work, but its like something is inside me saying, avoid avoid!!!

… really means time to procrastinate. Ever notice how as soon as it is time to study, EVERYTHING becomes much more important, including washing the dishes and cleaning? Anything on the Internet can become fascinating and important, after all I need to keep with the news, and it matters not that I do not have a truck to deck out with truck accessories, what matters is that there are sites out there devoted to it just waiting for me to find and browse. A never ending supply of distractions exist!!!

I cant help it, I love the new Lady Gaga song. Not that I did not like the other ones, but the new one is in my head on repeat all the time at the moment. I love it! She makes me want to go to platinum blond and spend my life dancing. But instead of dancing I am studying and looking for natural acne treatments, because my cheek has erupted for purposes unknown other to make me a generally unhappy girl.

For the past 2 years when my parents have gone to the Caribbean I have gone with them. The rather sad truth is that it is cheaper for me to have an all inclusive vacation on a beach then to fly home. And Im just talking about the airfare, not what I would then spend once I am home. It means that I dont get to see my friends as often as I would like, but at the same time some have visited me here, and the others do not live in Newfoundland anymore anyway. And now my parents have booked a trip in April. When I am in school. When I cant go. I should just book a playa del carmen all inclusive and go over Christmas. Who would be jealous then!!!!

Movie Weekend

So instead of having an exciting weekend next weekend of a wine tour through France as planned (while my boyfriend goes skiing), I will instead be preparing a presentation for my class on the following Monday. Boo! The only good news is that I have a new bluray and I can at least spend Saturday night catching up on all those movies I am missing out on of late. A condolence while everyone else has fun!

I admit there was a time when people declared that they were too busy to eat properly that I just chalked them up as lazy. But now that the shoe is on the other foot I feel bad for ever having been so judgmental. It is so much easier to run into a bakery, and the sweeties are cheaper and just as filling as the sandwiches, which are still a whole load of carbs, and then there I am, stuffed and feeling guilty and wondering what the best weight loss supplements are because i really really really NEED to stop this yo yo diet thing I have got on the go!
